 Four Weekends That Will Transform the Way You Work with Couples

Are you or is someone you know interested in training in couples therapy?

If you are The Developmental Model of Couples Therapy training course will provide you with an opportunity to learn about a wide range of important principles in couple therapy which will enable you to competently expand and develop your practice.

The Developmental Model of Couples Therapy explains normal and natural stages and struggles that growing couples encounter. The model provides a structure for couples therapy by identifying the developmental task, developmental stalemate, diagnosis and specific treatment intervention for each stage of development.

Who is this course for? Counsellors and psychotherapists who are working with couples or interested in becoming skilled in a highly effective model of couples therapy.

10 am to 5 pm on
Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 October, 2017
Saturday 2 & Sunday 3 December, 2017
Saturday 3 & Sunday 4 February, 2018
Saturday 21 & Sunday 22 April, 2018


Course Venue: 
La Verna Centre, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath

€900 for complete 8-day course, or
€475 for first two modules (days 1-4), and
€475 for last two modules (days 5-8).

The first 2 weekends will focus more on the core skills, tasks, theory and practice of the Developmental Model

The 2nd two weekends will build on your core learning of the Developmental Model and include more specialist areas i.e. Working with Affairs, sexuality, domestic violence and divorce/separation.


Participants will receive a certificate of attendance for 50 hours CPD for the entire course.
